Dr. Hawes was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2024 from Chamberlain University, and a Master of Science Degree as a FNP from Walden University in 2018, BSN in 2008 from Indiana University East, RN degree obtained 2004 from Sinclair Community College. Patrice developed a passion for health advocacy, quality improvement, and commitment to research strategies to reduce health disparities and enhance healthcare care delivery in underserved communities.
