Dr. Gawrys-Strand grew up in Indiana and completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Cedarville University in southwest Ohio. After she received her M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN, she returned to Ohio to complete her pediatric residency at Dayton Children's Hospital through Wright State University. During residency she grew to love the Dayton area and decided to stay. She enjoys working with children of all ages and helping their families to maximize their health and wellness. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, church friends, and pets.
